  • Does it start to feel like early summer in your part of the world as well? We have been enjoying some beautiful warm and sunny days lately. The bees have been collecting so much nectar that we will be able to harvest honey very soon.

As for natural dyeing, I have been getting ready to dye this year's batch of the "Herb Garden" mini skein set. I only dye this set once or twice a year, in spring or early summer, when the plant growth is fresh and young. This creates the most vibrants shades of green and yellow. I have started with nettles and elderberry leaves, rosemary will follow soon.

Especially when they are also considered a weed and grow wild in abundance over here. What have you been up to lately?
